The website for the online baby shop which sells each product together with other items

Having started working on Dzetkam.by project and having browsed through potential competitors’ websites, we decided that under no circumstances would current standards of baby-related design be used (various intense colours under flowers and bees seasoned with clouds and rainbows). We needed a different idea; it had to explicitly correspond to the main idea of the webstore and create necessary mood on all pages. The solution was found in 50-year-old Belarusian children’s postcards.

Two main colours are used: blue, the colour of the ribbon boys are bound with when they are taken from maternity hospitals, and pink, which is a symbol of a girl. The coffee colour and its shades contrast with the above mentioned colours. Although the background is light, it prevents all elements from falling apart and keeps them together.

The “Cart” is located on the right and contains a detailed description of everything in it; you can see the total amount of your purchases and the price of each item without visiting a special page. This lets you easily track your purchases.

Sorting not only by categories but also by prices and even by popularity is one of the website’s distinguishing features. You can also see the price of goods both in Belarusian rubles and in a foreign currency. Small images used to decorate pages and certain sections add to the idea of sweetness and childhood.
