PRAS.by broadens the outlook

PRAS had the first experience of designing an electronic book. “Ankle-high Mississippi” is a book by a Minsk poet with a peculiar character.

The book was released within a fresh project “Bybooks” which is aimed at creating a Belarusian electronic library of poems, prose and plays in popular formats for reading on mobile phones, tablets and ebooks. Unlike previous attempts to create similar resources, Bybooks decided not to digitalize paper books but to make special digital books. In this case texts are much easier for reading, they have convenient structure and contents.

However, just like in any other case of systematization, there were certain restrictions. For instance, all books of the series are to have the same fonts on the covers.

 Therefore, PRAS team managed to create a good allegory which would act on its own without the font and its size. It seems that we have succeeded. Read more!
