Functional construction set “Small craftsman”

Covers and internal assembling schemes for the Belarusian project for children from 18 months old which enables creating children’s furniture

An interesting Belarusian project “Small craftsman” was designed by art studio PRAS. The interactive game for children from 18 months to 6 years old will teach a child to deal with the simplest tools, to be independent and to develop his or her creative potential through painting of finished items as desired.  

The manufacturer suggests completing the process of creating a useful toy in several steps: to understand the illustrated assembling scheme using auxiliary tools, to assemble the toy, to paint it and use it according to one’s imagination. In particular, the authors suggest using the Bear or the Giraffe as pegs and the Gnome as a chair. Children can create new toys sitting on their chairs and keeping the tools in a special box. We have created a version of a corporate character, a box with colour solutions and assembling schemes for each of the five sets. 

Pants, brushes, screwdrivers and other necessary things can be found inside the box together with the wooden parts of furniture

To create the corporate character, we took into account the Soviet-time cartoons and modern marketed characters. Our Hedgehog has no name but we hope that he will become a real friend for each independent and creative child
