We developed a web portal about amateur football which is unique for Belarus (and probably Europe in general). The website has the functions of a corporate site, an online shop and a social network. The content is accompanied by interactive elements and dynamic layout.
As usual, we were very scrupulous about “minor things”: the match schedule which shows the nearest matches and switches between the days of games, the tournament chart with the most useful data for teams and the opportunity of a quick switch to a certain competitor, subscription for website updates and a lot of other things.

Website of “Football territory” has built-in services: team search and player search
The service is popular among players because of the attractive feature – it is user-oriented and had the so-called “content personalization”. The objective was to create a website for all eight leagues from six Belarusian cities. All of them have different structure and different number of teams which can simultaneously take part in many tournaments with different compositions every year... There was a question: “How can this be followed?" For example, it was obvious that a team from Minsk was not interested in the scores of a team from Hrodna and vice versa; therefore, we envisaged the choice of a favourite team which would be followed in the future. Apart from that, users can choose the city and their favourite tournament.
A user chooses a team he or she wants to follow and the website meets his/her needs and “removes” unnecessary data from the information space

Dynamic content upload is one of the interesting website’s features which helps to significantly speed up the work with the huge amount of information
Statistics, which are peculiar to any sports competition, definitely slow the website down. In order to avoid this, teams’ positions in tables, the number of goals and other “dead” statistics are uploaded as a finished block and are not calculated each time pages are downloaded. Other elements, such as comments and articles are uploaded dynamically while the site is being used.

Users can comment on practically any news on the website both anonymously and using their accounts in popular social networks: facebook, vk.com, twitter. Each comment can be rated, “liked” in social networks and replies to each comment can be marked by (+) or (-). Each user (usually the website is used by players) can create a topic and discuss a painful issue.
In this context we created an equivalent of social networks’ walls in order to enable discussions within the website
The portal provides an opportunity to create matches, comment them online and keep records and initial compositions – thus, it is very simple to follow the play of your team in a certain game and analyze why your competitor lost 13:0. Additionally, “Tournaments” section provides all information about each tournament, its status, schedule and 10 best players in all categories.
By the way, both each team and each tournament have their own pages – the same is true about players. There is information for each year! Users can find out how many goals were scored or conceded by a certain player of a certain team in a certain season.

Eventually, there is a great website with vast opportunities and good future.
