ReporTerra – website for young journalists

A resourse of the School of Young Belarusian Journalists which is a unique platform for learning in the Internet only

We have developed a website for the community of young Belarusian journalists ReporTerra.

There are Schools of a Young Journalist under the local mass media in Belarusian regions where famous, talented and mature Belarusian “media sharks” teach. Thus, the main idea of the developed website is to create a single web-platform for all regional communities of young journalists in order to improve the quality of educational activities and the final product. 

The site has a funny design which uses drawings of journalists made in their notebooks at super stressful press-conferences. The illustration in the header demonstrates all aspects of a journalist’s work: from a radio journalist and a site editor to a newspaper journalist and a press photographer.
Icons for each section are also an interesting feature. They do not only join the information blocks with the header and the footer of the website, but also draw additional attention to them.

The colours of the website are bright and intense; the yellow colour, which is associated with journalism, prevails.

The navigation is very convenient and helps you to browse through the website even if you are not an advanced Internet user.
