Datetotravel.com - is an international social network which provides you with an opportunity to find possible friends and fellow travelers around the world. The main idea of the site is quick search which is ensured by special icons around the members’ avatars. For example, if you are going to Croatia, it is very simple to find fellow travelers or even local dwellers who will show you around the country. Meanwhile, you can invite people to your place and find new friends.

As a rule, working with every social network starts with registration. You can log in using your Facebook and VK accounts. The registration can be completed in several steps only not to discourage users from it. In the meantime, extended registration, when all the fields are completed, is also possible. The website has a very light design which uses typical travel-related colours – blue and yellow. Red colour is used to highlight the main functions and hints.

Thus, the corporate style of the Swedish website developed by us is matched.

Datetotravel is adapted for widescreen monitors and will look equally good on all monitors without any white fields.
In this context, the drawn background image with hundreds of travel bags does its part.

All photos of any member can be commented on and “liked”. Meanwhile, users can choose the area for photo previews to prevent necessary parts from being cut. Porn, child and other photos prohibited according to the terms of use cannot be uploaded to the website.

Every time the user’s avatar is pointed at, relevant information appears: travel schedule – for visitors, parameters – for favourites, favourite countries – for searching fellow travelers.

Planning trips is the most significant function of the website. Each user can choose any country or part of the world he or she would like to visit, plan his or her trip or invite other people. Users can plan only one year in advance; old data are automatically deleted. An interactive map of the world will be added to "Travel Schedule" section soon.
