Kryvič - a Google Chrome extension

The first Belarusian theme for the popular browser which is a combination of the legendary power of Kryvičes and indigenous bisons

Art studio PRAS have developed an original extension for the most popular browser in Belarus, Chrome by Google, for the fans of the ancient Belarusian history. We decided to make our fist “lumpy pancake” on the basis of the history of our country forgotten through centuries. It is well-known that the ancestors of the Belarusians, Kryvičes, had extraordinary power, lived in woods and were able to turn into wolves. However, only few people know that they rode war bisons (mythical animals aurochs) and unexpectedly attacked their enemies.
 We decided to use that legend for our illustration.

The detailed illustration dips us into the ancient period of magic and legends

Therefore, our Kryvič takes you to the scene of action. Really magic cold light from the depth of the wood, lively eyes of the auroch and the spring drops on the creature’s hooves contribute to this. Meanwhile, our character, Kryvič, looks like a typical Belarusian of those times: fair hair, lazurite eyes, firm thoughts and actions and of course, a shirt with the national pattern, each symbol of which was an amulet for the owner.
