Website for woodworking enterprise Rečycadreŭ with the scent of wood chips and modern solutions. The first screen of the enterprise’s website

In 2014, JSC Rečycadreŭ celebrated its 110th anniversary. Nowadays, it is a leading high-technology enterprise of the Belarusian woodworking industry which focuses on timber logging and transportation, as well as production of low-density wood chipboards, plywood, veneer, shaped lumber, office and household furniture. The plywood produced in Rečyca is used at the internationally known factories in Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and the Baltic countries. The CIS countries gladly use the furniture produced on the banks of the Dniapro river and Rečycadreŭ’s low-density wood chipboards form the basis of the numerous individual furniture experiments.

Naturally, because of the venerable age and the scale of the enterprise, its corporate website had to look noble and at the same time modern because the company constantly undergoes an upgrading process to comply with the international standards. The JSC also permanently expands its product line and careful design of the resource’s architecture is required – it has to be flexible to enable adding sections or categories without any redevelopment of the website. Alongside with this, the usability has to be preserved and we have managed to do this due to the deep-laid scheme.

The design of the website uses the following colours: “apple-tree”, “alder” and “walnut”. These are the main types of wood used at the enterprise.

Each section is illustrated with the help of a small image which matches the content and draws attention to the additional menu, which, in its turn, has an unlimited size and can be either increased or decreased, can have several attachments and subparagraphs. The heading of each section consists of silhouettes and images based on the topic of the silhouettes. The images on the main page illustrate the slogan “Basis. Craftsmanship. Result” which was also developed by the studio to explain the advantages of Rečycadreŭ to a user in one line. These advantages include the natural basis of raw materials, craftsmanship and more than one hundred years of experience in the sphere of woodworking as well as the high quality result.
